How long does setup take?
Most schools are fully set up and ready to open applications within a day of receiving their invite. There's nothing to install and no IT involvement required.
Do we need to involve our IT department?
No. Marble is a web-based platform — nothing to install, no server configuration, no IT tickets. If you can log into a website, you can run a Marble lottery.
What if we have sibling preference or other weighted categories?
Weighted preference rules are on our roadmap and coming soon. We'll notify all schools when this feature launches. In the meantime, Marble runs standard random lotteries with full fairness documentation.
Can our authorizer access our lottery records?
Yes. You can share your compliance export directly. An authorizer portal with read-only access is also in development.
What does "first lottery free" actually mean?
You run one complete lottery — applications open, draw, offers, waitlist, compliance export — at no cost. No credit card required. If Marble works for your school, you move to an annual plan. If it doesn't, you owe us nothing and keep your compliance records.
Is Marble FERPA-compliant?
Yes. All student data is handled in accordance with FERPA requirements. We never share student information with third parties.
Can we run multiple lotteries in a year?
Yes — mid-year lotteries for vacant seats are supported. Run a new draw anytime you have an opening.
